Every day, countless blog posts are posted by individuals and companies in the industry. Of course, you want your blog to stand out and your readers to come back for more. If so, you should be able to give them something that will make them want more.
Think of your blog as your favorite restaurant or bakery. What drives you to eat there more often? Your blog must:
• delicious appearance. Make sure your headline attracts them to read the blog.
• be easily swallowed. Share information that is easy to read and digest.
• savory. It just has to look good, it has to be good, so your content has to be superior.
In other words, your blog post should be delightful. Let me tell you the top 5 ingredients for a tasty blog that will charm your readers:
1. Write great content.
It may seem obvious, but this is one of the key ingredients of a delightful blog. Perhaps you have read or tried to read poorly written blogs. That is, the ideas the author wants to share are not communicated well. The result? A blog of inestimable value and at risk of damaging their reputation or that of the product/brand they write.
2. Enchant your readers with pckart.
When people search, the first thing they see is the title of your article. When they see something that catches their attention as they browse your blog, it makes them addicted to reading. They are reading why your article looks promising and you need to deliver on that promise. Headlines that give them the idea that they can learn something new and learn right away is what people are looking for. Put some intensity on your title and give them what they want.
3. Be concise.
Long blogs can bore readers, while short blogs lack content. In general, a blog can contain 400-500 words. So make your articles concise, short in form but broad in scope.
4. Articles should be easy to read.
Admit it or not, not everyone reads the entire article all the time. We scan it. And with the vast resources available to us online, we wouldn’t take the time to read from start to finish. With this in mind, write your article in a format that allows scanners to get the most out of the article. You can have it as numbered list / bulleted list, short paragraphs and you can use subtitles. This way, your article content is easy to read, scan and digest.
5. Select the images that match your message.
As much as you want to give your readers something for their eyes, you don’t want to bore them too much. Select images that fit your content and make sure they resonate with your target audience. Try to have at least one for each blog post, but don’t bomb them with more than three.
