    Make a Habit of Waking Up Earlier

    Given the chance, some of us would sleep the whole day away, but too much rest can actually negatively impact your health—and your appearance! Mashing your face against the pillow for extended periods of time can do a number on your skin, which is why there are all sorts of special pillows on the market that can not only minimize damage, but make you look less tired.

    Another excellent way to appear more alert is to quite simply wake up earlier. At first, it may be difficult to get out of bed a few hours earlier than usual, but the benefits far outweigh the drawback; you will not only feel more energized but will give off a glowing natural aura!

    Apply a Firming Cream to Reduce Puffiness

    Firming creams, when applied before bed, repair damaged skin throughout the night. They also render your face much smoother, helping you look more vibrant come sunrise.

    Puffiness is another common issue; lying down for many hours tends to exacerbate it. However, you can treat puffiness, or even outright reverse it, by using special creams and ice packs. Make sure to do this early in the day, when the swelling is at its worst.

    If you want to look as good as you possibly can, taking the right steps is essential!

    Take a Cold Shower

    As much as we all love a warm, relaxing shower, cold water offers surprising advantages; in fact, it conditions your body to wake up quicker. This isn’t to say that your showers should be ice-cold, but a morning rinse any hotter than lukewarm can actually hold you back from reaching your complete aesthetic potential.

    So, adjust the dial to a cooler temperature, and you’ll look like you’ve been awake for hours! Even better, chillier water makes your face tighter, as the cold actually reduces, rather than worsens, puffiness. Lastly, and perhaps most interestingly, cold showers stimulate adrenaline and dopamine, and can therefore be more effective than your average morning coffee.

    Exercise First Thing in the Morning

    One of the best things you can do for yourself is exercise as soon as you wake up. Even a 15-minute cardio routine with a series of targeted stretches is good enough, and over time, you’ll notice a wonderful difference in your quality of life.

    As with anything, exercise is all about perseverance; most people would rather grab breakfast than work out. However, fighting the urge to eat and getting into a consistent physical routine is one of the surest ways to help you look and feel more awake, as well as make you healthier!

    Get a Facelift for Fantastic Results

    Yet another fantastic way to look less tired is to get a facelift. This surgical procedure is an extremely reliable solution to aging and can fix some of your greatest facial insecurities. The best part of all is that the typical facelift’s results last for over a decade.

    As big of a step as a facelift may seem, it can revamp your appearance in a way that is simply impossible with even the most advanced creams and injectables. In short, it may give you the confidence to go outside and socialize with everyone who catches your eye. There’s nothing quite as rewarding as looking young and refreshed once again!

    Reduce Screen Time

    It’s easy to underestimate the amount of time we spend in front of screens. What most of us don’t realize is that overexposure to technology can have detrimental consequences, one of which is poor skin health. Like it or not, spending countless hours on your computer can make you look like a sleepless Dracula!

    It can be hard to limit your screen time, but there are ways to take charge. For example, you can buy and wear special glasses that eliminate eye strain or install a screen time application on your devices. Tinting your screen red is also a good idea and can help you sleep better if you tinker with your phone before bed.
